Description

DAHER is a French privately owned industrial group which designs and manufactures equipment and provides services for high technology markets including the aerospace, defence nuclear and rail sectors.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: GCSE level or equivalent, with strong reading, writing, and basic IT skills. Ability to operate SAP for running reports and data entry using desktop PCs and PDAs.
  • Experience: Previous experience in inventory control, kit box return, stores, build, and repair is advantageous.
  • Personal Attributes: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrate initiative, remain calm under pressure, and effectively prioritize tasks. Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with R-R and CEVA personnel.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hands-On Approach: Flexibility to meet customer requirements and provide occasional cover at other local external sites.
  • Training: Essential training will be provided as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Inventory Control: Manage and track container buffer stock. Conduct weekly stock checks and forward results to the WIP Packaging Coordinator (WPC).
  • Container Management: Configure and issue containers according to the Container Requirement Plan (CRP). Move containers to designated logistics pick-up areas and update inventory records.
  • Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect returned containers, perform light cleaning and maintenance, and coordinate heavy cleaning and maintenance with the Hilton site as needed.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate regularly with CEVA Material Controllers (CMC) and R-R staff to ensure smooth operations and address any shortfalls in buffer stock.
  • Process Adherence: Follow detailed processes for pre-manufacturing launch, in-manufacturing, post-manufacturing, and replenishment to ensure timely and accurate container management.
