Our team enjoys a clean, growth focused environment with a Monday through Friday schedule.   Position:                      Wire Harness Assembler Reports To:                 Director of Operations Status:                         Hourly, Non-Exempt Shift:                           1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Pay Range:                $20.50 - $25.00 / Hour                           BASIC WORKER FUNCTION: Builds and inspects electrical wire harnesses for aircraft and related products. Follows drawings, work instructions, and specifications to ensure quality assemblies.   GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF TASKS: • Cut, strip, label, and terminate wires per drawings. • Assemble wire harnesses with connectors, terminals, clamps, and protective sleeves. • Route and secure wiring bundles using approved methods. • Read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and layouts. • Use hand tools, crimpers, and power tools for assembly. • Test harnesses for continuity, insulation, and basic function. • Inspect completed harnesses to meet quality standards. • Report any defects or problems. • Keep tools and work area clean and organized. • Follow all safety and quality rules.   REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Experience assembling wire harnesses or electrical components preferred. • Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics. • Skilled with hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, and measuring tools. • Basic knowledge of electrical principles. • Attention to detail and quality. • Able to perform repetitive, detailed work. • Able to work independently and on a team. • Basic shop math skills.   QUALIFICATIONS • High school diploma or GED. • Experience in wire harness or electrical assembly preferred. • Familiarity with aerospace or aviation wiring standards a plus.   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Stand or sit for long periods. • Lift 30–50 pounds as needed. • Perform repeated hand motions and precise wiring tasks. • Bend, reach, and work in tight spaces when needed. • See clearly to read diagrams and inspect assemblies. • Wear required safety gear.
