POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled Wireless Broadband Technician / Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting wireless broadband systems for residential and business customers. You’ll work both independently and with our support team to ensure customers enjoy seamless connectivity.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

· Previous experience in wireless broadband, telecommunications, or IT networking preferred.
· Strong understanding of basic networking (IP addressing, routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
· Comfortable working at heights (ladders, rooftops, towers) and with power tools
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Strong customer service and communication skills
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

· Install, configure, and test wireless broadband equipment at customer locations
· Mount and align antennas or radios on rooftops, towers, and other structures
· Run and manage cabling (interior/exterior) for internet installations
· Perform site surveys to determine optimal installation locations
· Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues in the field and remotely
· Educate customers on equipment use and basic troubleshooting
· Ensure all work meets safety standards and company quality guidelines
· Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and maintenance
