Who we are looking for :

Enthusiastic and detail-oriented Telecom Lab Testing professional with at least one year of experience in the Telecom or Technology sector. Adept in performing testing and troubleshooting in telecommunications environments, with a solid foundation in telecommunication systems, equipment, and industry best practices gained through a diploma in Telecom Technology. Some Programming experience will be a big Plus. Seeking to contribute technical expertise and grow as part of a dynamic team in a Junior Telecom Lab Testing role.

Education
Diploma in Telecommunications Technology (2 / 3 / 4 year program)

IMP NOTE: Co-Op students are welcome to apply Relevant Coursework: Network Systems, Wireless Communications, Telecom Protocols, Lab Testing & Measurement Techniques, Signal Processing.

Technical Skills (Note: Candidates with 70% skills match can apply)
· Telecom Testing Tools:
o Protocol Analyzers (Wireshark, ADB logs)
o Signal Generators & Analyzers
o Network Simulation Tools (GNS3, Packet Tracer)
· Telecommunications Systems & Standards:
o Mobile Networks (4G/LTE/VoLTE)
o Broadband Technologies (DSL, Fiber Optic)
o VoIP & SIP Protocols
o Basic IP Networking (TCP/IP, Subnetting)
· Programming & Scripting:
o Python and Shell Scripting will be a big plus.
o Test Automation tools (Selenium, Appium) will be a big plus.
· Hardware & Equipment:
o Test Equipment: Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Multimeters

o Routers, Switches, and Modem Configuration

Junior Telecom Lab Testing Technician - Role requirements
· Perform testing and troubleshooting of wireless / telecom equipment and systems, ensuring functionality according to technical specifications and industry standards.
· Execute pre-defined test-cases on the “Device under test (DUT)” and provide results in a structured format.
· Assist senior engineers in setting up test environments, configuring Telecom Devices, routers, switches for testing.
· Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying issues such as latency, signal loss, and bandwidth utilization.
· Document and report test results to provide feedback to Team lead / Project Manager to support improvements and fixes.

· Supported lab operations by maintaining test records, ensuring accurate documentation of test setups, configurations, and results.

Certifications

· CCNA / Certified Network Associate (CNA) is a plus, but not mandatory.

Additional Skills
· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills for identifying issues and troubleshooting telecom equipment.
· Teamwork: Effective collaborator with engineers and developers, contributing to problem resolution and optimization efforts.

· Communication: Capable of documenting test results and communicating technical details clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
