ELITS is now looking for a Wireless Network Field Technician skilled and self-motivated professional to support the commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of wireless network infrastructure in different regions (Halifax, Vancouver, Toronto). This role focuses on ensuring high availability and performance across cellular sites and transport facilities within the customer’s wireless network.
Key technologies supported include microwave radio systems, direct current (DC) power systems, various generations of cellular base stations (Global System for Mobile Communications GSM, Universal Mobile Telecommunications System UMTS, Long-Term Evolution LTE, and Fifth Generation 5G), in-building distributed antenna systems (DAS), paging systems, Cisco and Milan network switches, remote terminal units (RTUs) using Transport Local Area Network (TLAN), heating, ventilation, air conditioning and facility access control (HVAC/FAC) systems, fibre optic terminals, and multiport antenna and line systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Diploma or Certificate in Electronics or equivalent experience in telecommunications.
• Driver’s license and a car/vehicle needed
