As part of our commitment to community service and educational enrichment, ABC 7/WJLA 24/7 News is offering a summer practicum program designed for graduate students interested in pursuing careers in broadcast and/or cable television. This program is available to selected participants currently enrolled in institutions of higher learning. Students will gain hands-on experience in all phases of a major-market television station's day-to-day operations, complementing their academic curriculum. Eligibility/Qualifications: ABC 7/WJLA 24/7 News internships are open to only graduate students from the Medill Master's in Journalism program from Northwestern University. Applicants should have declared majors in Communications, Journalism, Broadcast Production, or a related field. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
