ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a unique opportunity for an experience project/programme manager to support a region-wide vision that aims to reduce waste, and build a more sustainable future for our communities.
While your home base will be at Porirua City Council, you’ll be at the heart of regional collaboration, helping translate strategy into action across all councils in the wider Wellington region.

As part of a collaborative regional network, you’ll:

• Programme Manage the 2023-2026 Wellington Region Waste Management and Minimisation Plan (WMMP)
• Facilitate the implementation of regional waste initiatives and coordinated projects.Work closely with Project Leads across the region to ensure alignment and
• d success.
• Support the Regional Waste Officers Steering Group to deliver key actions
• Manage all project dependencies and interdependencies
• Collate and prepare clear, insightful programme reporting, including risks, progress, and updates.

This is a fixed term role until August 2028.
