QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Significant experience (5+ years) in women’s fashion design, with a strong and diverse portfolio showcasing your design expertise.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • In-depth knowledge of textiles, garment construction, and pattern making.
  • Exceptional creativity, innovation, and an eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A genuine passion for fashion and a deep understanding of current fashion trends.
Responsibilities
  • Design Conceptualization: Lead the creative process by developing innovative and trendsetting designs that align with the brand’s vision and resonate with our target audience.
  • Trend Forecasting: Stay informed about the latest fashion trends, consumer behaviors, and market competition to guide design decisions effectively.
  • Sketching and Rendering: Create detailed sketches, digital renderings, and mood boards to visually communicate design concepts.
  • Fabric and Material Selection: Collaborate with the team to source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials for garments.
  • Technical Specifications: Produce accurate technical drawings and specifications for pattern makers and production teams.
  • Prototype Development: Oversee the creation of prototypes and samples, ensuring designs are faithfully translated into physical garments.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate closely with the quality control team to maintain high-quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Market Feedback Integration: Gather and incorporate feedback from customer reviews and sales data to refine designs and improve product offerings.
