Description Key responsibilities for this position, include: Medical Assistant (Certified preferred) Directly assist assigned OBGYN in delivering high-quality and timely care to WNC’s most vulnerable residents Maintaining electronic health records (EHR) and coordinating patient activities. Collecting specimens for laboratory testing, administering medications and immunizations and conducting patient intake and exit interviews. Using data and patient registries to outreach to patients in need of preventive care and follow-up for chronic conditions. Assisting with patient referrals, tracking and follow-up. As appropriate, triaging phone calls and following up on patient requests.
