Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physiotherapist with a keen interest in women’s health to join passionate team on a contractor basis. As a Women’s Health Physiotherapist, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care to women across a spectrum of conditions, including prenatal and postnatal care, pelvic floor dysfunction, and musculoskeletal issues specific to women.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated experience or a strong interest in women’s health physiotherapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for women seeking physiotherapy services.
  • Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education, to address women’s health concerns.
  • Specialize in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction, including incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic pain.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including obstetricians/gynecologists, midwives, and general practitioners, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay abreast of the latest advancements in women’s health physiotherapy.
