We are seeking a skilled Wood Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating woodworking machinery and tools to produce high-quality wooden components and products. Our company is an established specialist joinery company based in Meath for over 40 years, who will offer you the opportunity to work on bespoke designs for Private and Commercial Sectors.
This is a permanent, full-time position with an immediate start.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a Wood Machinist or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using woodworking machines and hand tools.
• Strong understanding of different types of wood and their properties.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work with precision.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and ability to handle heavy materials.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in a woodworking environment.

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Select and prepare appropriate materials for machining.
• Measure and cut wood to precise specifications.
• Assemble wooden components as needed.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functionality.
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
