Description Pay Range: $16 - $21/hr Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k, sick time, and PTO after 90 days! 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Summary: Final preparation of product for finish room operation Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Finishing product, by hand, using a variety of hand tools, including, but not limited to: files various knives, hand routers, sand paper, orbital sander and trimming devices Repairing product as necessary using a variety of products, including, but not limited to: putty, bondo, wood filler, and adhesives. Repairing product as necessary using a variety of methods and processes Checking parts for aesthetics Read and comprehend job tickets, drawings, quality policies, procedures, and standards Ability to calibrate and use a tape measure, set-up, adjusts and uses small power tools, such as routers and drills. Ability to inspect product to insure compliance to standards Ability to adequately maintain inventory for all sanding supplies and requisition replenishment as required Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Responsibilities
The primary duties involve the final preparation of products for the finish room by hand using various tools, including sanding and trimming devices. Employees are also responsible for repairing product defects using fillers and adhesives, and ensuring parts meet aesthetic standards.
