Description Woodshop Builder Apprentice James and James is looking to welcome a self-motivated, responsible, and hard-working individual to our woodshop team! We are looking for individuals with a good attitude and an eagerness to learn that will help us in our goals to grow and advance. If you’re detail-oriented, safety-focused, and enjoy working collaboratively, we’d love to hear from you. What You’ll Be Doing: Build or the ability and willingness to learn how to build solid hardwood furniture, learning the process from start to finish with training, the help of team leads, and senior builders. Create and maintain a clean work environment, while following all safety guidelines needed to operate power tools and heavy machinery. Gain knowledge and understand the metric standards set by leadership and business needs. Gain knowledge and understand our high-quality standard expectations, and how to meet metric standards and maintain a high pass rate. Knowledge and ability to operate power tools and heavy machinery or the ability and willingness to learn. Cross train and learn all areas of the wood shop. Communicate effectively and professionally with other teammates and leadership to solve problems and tackle issues. What You’ll Need: Understands the importance of workplace safety and can follow all safety standards set in place.
