The coach works with our guests to train skills in a controlled environment with proper progression training tailored to the guest's skill level. Additionally, they provide support in all Woodward operations, act as a champion of safety, and proactively anticipating our guests' needs whatever they may be. A connection with people that share the same passions and embrace each other's unique and individual style While every day is different and our roles may shift based on business needs, here is what you can expect to dive into in this role as a Bunker Zone Coach: Provides an impeccable level of service to our guests. Teaches Basic Trainings in all areas of The Bunker. Provides general instruction and safety oversight during Daily Sessions Acts as an ambassador for the resort and for safe practices both in The Bunker and on hill. Coaches participants to their ability and department policy. Breaks down skills into easily definable steps and communicates them during trainings. Teaches group and private lessons for guests of all skill levels and ages. Spots participants through basic skills on the spring floor, trampolines, and pump track. Sets up and maintains Bunker equipment. Collaborates and cooperates with other teams at BRC. Understands and communicates resort offerings to our guests. Takes direction and translates effectively to daily responsibilities. Maintains presentability of both public-facing and back-of-house Snowsports areas. What We're Looking For: Prior background teaching snowsports, action sports, cheer, or gymnastics Understanding of snow and action sports tricks, progressions, and terminology Experience working with children, teens and adults Has a guest service mindset and outgoing personality Has excellent communication skills Has a strong sense of safe practices and ethical behavior Individuals who elevate and contribute positively to a team dynamic Able to maintain a composed and professional demeanor Able to demonstrate a number of skills on varied equipment Able to lift 50 pounds Able to complete and pass a background check Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays You make us Woodward.
