POWERGROUP Resources, on behalf of our client our client, Cayuga Displays is seeking a hard working and motivated Woodworking Designer for our fixture and millwork products division. If you are an individual who has a desire to learn and grow within this field, we encourage you to apply.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• 3+ years experience in a related field is an asset however Cayuga Displays is willing to train the right candidate with the willingness to learn and grow in the role.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Autodesk Inventor or equivalent, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of wood and wood construction practices
• Knowledge of variety of wood materials
• Hands-on manufacturing experience
• Project management experience

Experience:

• Woodworking Design: 3 years (preferred)
• Autodesk Inventor: 2 years (preferred)
• wood knowledge and wood construction: 2 years (preferred)
• Hands on Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)
• Project Management: 2 years (preferred

• Work with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to facilitate customer projects from sale into manufacturing
• Use Autodesk Inventor to generate 3D models, drawings, and Bills of Material
• Engineering of new parts and designs as required
• Review new designs and releases with the production team
• Provide engineering support to the production team
• Work with sales team to understand customer requirements and communicate technical details and capabilities to customers
• Assist customer support team to solve technical issues
• Assist with discussions regarding inventory, processes, costing, product improvements, and other continuous improvement projects

  Pay: $48,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
