IBMC is assisting one of our clients in the SaaS and IT Services sector in hiring a WordPress Developer. Our client is a dynamic agency that builds high-performance platforms for the financial services industry, focusing on secure, scalable, and innovation-driven web solutions. We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with a strong background in WooCommerce and API integrations. In this role, you will be responsible for building custom themes and plugins, integrating multiple Payment Service Providers (PSPs), and ensuring the security and scalability of our e-commerce products. You will play a pivotal role in delivering seamless transaction flows for international users. Responsibilities: Product Development: Develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress and WooCommerce-based products to support high-performance e-commerce functions. Custom Customization: Build and implement custom themes, plugins, and modules tailored to specific product requirements and user experiences. Payment Integration: Implement and manage integrations with various Payment Service Providers (PSPs), including mapping APIs, managing webhooks, and validating transaction flows. Site Optimization: Proactively monitor and improve site performance, speed, security, and scalability. Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical issues related to WordPress, WooCommerce hosting environments, and payment gateways. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, and front-end teams to deliver high-quality features and maintain code quality through version control (Git). Core Expertise: Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with deep knowledge of WooCommerce architecture and PHP. Technical Stack: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MariaDB database optimization. API & Fintech Savvy: Solid experience integrating third-party APIs, specifically relating to financial services or PSPs. Workflow Mastery: Strong understanding of webhooks, payment validation flows, and modern development workflows using Git. Security Mindset: In-depth understanding of security best practices for e-commerce and sensitive transaction data. Problem Solving: Ability to create, customize, and debug complex plugins and themes independently. Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have) Experience integrating multiple PSPs across different global regions. Familiarity with caching layers, CDN configuration, and server environments (cPanel, Plesk, or VPS). Knowledge of Laravel, Node.js, or other backend technologies.
