PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of experience building and shipping high-quality CMS applications, with a proven track record of success.
• Expertise in WordPress development, including core functionalities, customization, and security best practices.
• Experience working on large direct-to-consumer (D2C) websites with high traffic and conversion events involving thousands/millions of users (e.g., e-commerce purchases, appointment bookings).

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript to build responsive user interfaces.
• Strong back-end development skills, including PHP and database management.
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques (e.g., caching mechanisms, CDN integration, image optimization).
• Experience with version control systems like Git and development methodologies such as unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices, schema markup, structured data, and content management principles.

As a Senior WordPress Developer, you’ll excel in a dynamic, problem-solving environment that calls for expertise in a range of specialized skills. Drawing on your in-depth knowledge of CMS frameworks, concepts, principles, and methods, you’ll develop innovative solutions to tackle complex challenges. You’ll take full ownership of your projects, independently planning and executing tasks from start to finish while effectively addressing and resolving most issues that arise along the way.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Craft Innovative Solutions: Leverage your in-depth understanding of WordPress and a broad range of specialized skills to tackle complex assignments and develop innovative solutions that enhance user experience, optimize performance, and meet evolving business needs.
• Independent Project Ownership: Independently plan, execute, and own WordPress development projects from conception to completion. This includes taking initiative, managing timelines, resolving most technical challenges that arise, and ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Mastery of Specialized Skills: Demonstrate a mastery of various specialized WordPress development skills, including:
• WordPress Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of a specific WordPress platform including core functionalities, customization options, and security best practices.
• Front-End Development: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript to build and maintain user interfaces and ensure device responsiveness.
• Back-End Development: Experience with server-side scripting languages (e.g., PHP) and familiarity with databases to manage content and functionality.
• Integration & Automation: Ability to integrate WordPress with third-party applications and develop automated workflows to streamline processes.
• Content Management Expertise: Strong understanding of content management principles and best practices for creating, structuring, and optimizing content for digital platforms.
