TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development (strictly mandatory).
• Expertise in e-commerce platforms (Shopify experience is mandatory).
• Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, and jQuery.
• Proficient in MySQL database management, including database optimization and query performance tuning.
• Experience with code versioning tools (Git, SVN, Mercurial) and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Experience with debugging tools (Chrome Inspector, Firebug) and web performance monitoring tools(Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights).
• Server management expertise, including AWS, hosting configurations, domain setups, and Linux server administration.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party API integrations.
• Experience with Web Application Firewalls (WAF), CDN configurations (Cloudflare, Fastly), and security hardening measures.
• Familiarity with Laravel, Next.js, or React.js is a plus.
• Knowledge of headless CMS, decoupled architectures, and Jamstack development is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage projects effectively.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with headless WordPress or decoupled architectures.
• Advanced site migration, security best practices, and hosting configurations.
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards and compliance (WCAG 2.1, ARIA roles)

• WordPress Development: Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.
• Design & UI/UX: Develop responsive and aesthetic website designs using industry-standard tools (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.).
• Theme & Plugin Management: Create, manage, and optimize WordPress themes and plugins.
• Performance & Security Optimization: Conduct performance tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement security best practices (SSL, DDoS protection, WAF configurations).
• SEO Implementation: Apply technical and on-page SEO strategies to improve website visibility and search rankings, including schema markup, Core Web Vitals optimization, and structured data implementation.
• Server & Hosting Management: Configure and maintain hosting environments (AWS, cPanel, VPS), manage domain setups, and troubleshoot server-related issues (DNS configurations, SSL installations, firewall setups).
• E-commerce Development: Integrate and customize Shopify and other e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and API integrations.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions for team members and clients on best practices for WordPress, SEO, and e-commerce.
• System Integration & Testing: Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure site functionality.
• Data Analytics & Tagging: Work with analytics tools (Looker Studio, GA4, Adobe) and manage event tracking tags for performance analysis.
