Backed by a stable parent company, they are scaling fast and are looking for a WordPress Developer who can own the plugin layer, make it bulletproof across themes and stores, and push feautures, performance and UX to the next level. The Developer will also contribute to the management and development of frontend and backend websites and apps.

THE ROLE

As our WordPress Developer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and optimising our core plugin. You’ll ensure tight integration with WooCommerce and compatibility across a wide range of themes and hosting environments. You’ll collaborate with our Lead Developer, ML team, and UX designers to keep our plugin fast, reliable, and intuitive for both merchants and end-users.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Maintain custom WordPress plugin.
• Ensure seamless WooCommerce integration.
• Handle plugin updates, security, compatibility, and bug fixes.
• Build admin interface tools.
• Optimise for performance, responsiveness, and cross-theme styling.
• Work closely with the backend and ML teams to integrate new features.
• Implement fallback systems and error handling across user types.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality or performance.
• Maintain documentation for code, processes, and workflows.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development practices.
