Zest Group is a leading provider of domestic appliance protection and care solutions, dedicated to ensuring our customers enjoy peace of mind and exceptional service. We’re expanding our Development Team and are seeking a skilled WordPress developer to design, implement, and maintain websites — with additional expertise in digital analytics tools like Google Analytics and Tag Manager.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field, or several years of experience in relevant roles.
• Proven experience as a WordPress and PHP developer
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies: CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery
• Expertise in PHP and LAMP stack
• Solid experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and tracking pixel implementations
• Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
• Experience with Git and version control (ideally in Azure DevOps)
• Experience with debugging tools (e.g., Chrome Inspector, Firebug)
• Ability to manage and prioritise projects independently
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align website design, function, and business goals
• Design and build new features and improvements, front to back
• Create and maintain website architecture
• Manage the website back-end, including database and server integration
• Conduct performance tests and generate actionable reports
• Set up and maintain event tracking in Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
• Monitor and improve SEO/SEM performance (in collaboration with marketing)
• Troubleshoot site and content issues
• Track live website performance and resolve ranking-affecting issues using tools such as Google Search Console, Semrush, etc.
