Job Title: WordPress Platform Engineer (Remote)
Location: Remote within UK/Europe/Africa time zones (minimum 4 hours overlap with UK)

Salary: £42,000-£50,000 per annum (UK)
For non-UK hires, compensation is market-aligned; we’ll share your country’s range early in process.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are the UK’s biggest property training company, and we’re hiring a hands-on WordPress engineer who can also support light IT operations. You’ll report to our IT Manager (Chris), a strong generalist who knows the business inside out and take ownership of the coding-heavy work on our web platform.
The role is fully remote but most of the team remains UK-based.

OPTIONAL SKILLS (PREFERRED):

  • Worked previously with Microsoft Dynamics to support or manage integrations, reporting, or workflow automation.
  • Familiar with CRM systems maintaining data quality, building automation and management of the system to ensure sendability
  • Familiar with DNS management, being able to modify and manage records inside of Cloudflare and third-party DNS providers
  • Experience with Elementor page builder
  • Knowledge of WooCommerce
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • WordPress Development (Primary):
  • Develop, customise and maintain WordPress websites, including themes, plugins and integrations.

OUTLINE OF THE ROLE:

  • Assist in managing and troubleshooting Google Workspace and Microsoft Exchange environments.
  • Provide basic IT support for internal systems and tools to assist the customer service team
  • Help oversee software and hardware installations and updates.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve IT workflows and system efficiencies across the organisation
  • Development of WordPress websites to expand functionality for our customers
