Manage all activates associated with incoming and outgoing Work Authorizations (WASs), Inter-Contractor Procurements (ICPs) and other similar actions received from Generator Sites for Generator Site Funding (GSF) and Central Characterization Program (CCP) funding, Duties include:
Coordinate and communicate with CBFO Budget Execution Analyst and the EM Consolidated Business Center (EMCBC) regarding issuing funding for WAS actions to SIMCO.
Coordinate with EMCBC to assign and ensure accurate DOE budget/accounting codes (lines of accounting) and funding amounts to individual WAS actions by utilizing various reports (e.g., BFADS, R‐110, etc.).
Provide input to the CBFO Budget Execution Analyst for SIMCO Procurement Requests (PRs) that includes accurate Lines of Accounting, work scope summaries, and accurate dollar amounts.
Run Status of Funds reports from the DOE STARS accounting system and provide to the CBFO Budget Execution Analyst to validate adequate funds have been received by CBFO/WIPP for individual WAS actions, as me allows; prepare certifications of funds available for withdrawal for funding allocations related to work authorizations.
Attend bi‐weekly meetings with EMCBC to discuss budget issues related to WASs/ICPs/GSF.
Work with SIMCO personnel and personnel from Generator Sites to discuss and resolve ad hoc issues as needed.
Attend bi‐weekly Integrated Project Team meeting between CBFO and SIMCO and regularly provide updates regarding the status of individual WAS actions.
Respond to requests for information and data from SIMCO and Generator Sites.
Maintain the CBFO WAS Tracking Report (currently an Excel spreadsheet) and the work authorization primary email account.
Maintain complete and accurate documenta on using a reliable electronic filing system.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in applicable field of study with 25 years of experience in the applicable field, with leadership experience, OR a Ph.D. in a related discipline with 15 years of experience. The combination of education, experience and expertise may vary depending on task or project and may require approval by the Contracting Officer.
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
