Work experience opportunity for students (Year 10 and up or higher education) or graduates to learn with a professional photographer, videographer and You Tuber.
I run an e-commerce product photography and videography business, shooting products like clothing and accessories, packaged food and beverages, skincare and more. It is mainly white background for website and requires a lot of technical skill in lighting and editing to make the products look perfect, polished and stand out as high quality in an online environment against competitors. I’d love to help students eager to get into the photography industry learn these skills as it’s such an under served industry. The skills learned will also be valuable for other areas of the industry. I also do styled product shoots, modelled fashion shoots and product videos including 360 and social content. Whilst this is a smaller portion of my shoots, i can certainly teach skills in these areas as well.
I run this business solo so work experience is one on one and very hands on. You’ll get to learn aspects of both the creative and technical side of the photography and videography industry, as well as the skills needed to run a business.

  I also have a long established You Tube channel where i teach DIY and do room makeovers.
  My channel involves filming creative DIY projects which can take anywhere from hours to months to film (part time). I then need to bring everything together into long form content with my personality, style and sense of humour. For publishing there is a lot of work involved in generating SEO friendly titles and descriptions. The content is then transformed into short form content , varying for each of the social media platforms based on the types of content that works for each.
  Another aspect of my channel is seeking out and working with brands for partnerships as well as utilising affiliate marketing platforms for extra revenue generation.
