We are looking for a full-time computer science/engineering research assistant with strong software development background. Qualified candidates with less experience may be considered for internship or volunteer and work towards a full-time position. Recent computer science/engineering graduates or current graduate students with strong research/programming background are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Scientific research in image processing, signal processing, AI, machine learning, and related fields
- Develop web-based software products (both backend and frontend)
- Provide research, setup, testing, support and related technical duties on solutions proposed
- Technical documentation
Requirements:
- University education in engineering, computer science, data science, AI, programming, software development and/or related disciplines
- Knowledge or experience of Matlab, Python, C#, Blazor, Javascript, and SQL are * MUST *
- Knowledge of web application development, general software applications and computer hardware/networking are essential
- Stable, hi-speed internet connection and a suitable working environment at home (a PC adequately running Virtualbox virtual machine(s))
- Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
- Able to work independently and efficiently to meet project goals
- Fluent oral and written English
