THE ROLE

Based in our production facility in Sydney, you’ll report to our Associate Director of Work Health & Safety and work with multiple stakeholders across the business. The Health and Safety Advisor provides expert support and advice to the organisation on all matters relating to work health, safety, injury management and return to work tasks.
You will work as part of a small safety team across Australia and New Zealand contributing to the development of programs, initiatives and training while delivering onsite WHS/RTW support and coordination at our HelloFresh Distribution Centre’s.
Above all, we are looking for people who are passionate about driving a positive safety culture at HelloFresh. So even if you don’t “tick all the boxes” but think you’d thrive in this role, we would really like to learn more about you.

  • Take ownership of KPIs and business metrics for return-to-work and incident management, contributing to communications and initiatives to improve business performance.
  • Provide updates to the Associate Director of Work Health & Safety on Workers Compensation case progression.
  • Review and organise data for reporting to senior management regarding RTW and safety performance.
  • Lead RTW Coordination at our distribution centers and liaise with injured workers/team leaders to monitor and drive progress with return-to-work programs.
  • Review, file, and administer documentation for Workers Compensation case management, creating individual RTW plans based on role and capacity considerations.
  • Support Line Managers with health and safety initiatives, including risk assessments, workplace inspections, WHS advice and training, and continuous safety improvement opportunities.
