The WHS Business Partner plays a hands-on role in protecting the health and safety of SALHN's workforce. Reporting to the WHS Preventions Team Leader, you'll partner with divisional leaders, employees, health and safety representatives, and contractors to implement WHS management systems, investigate incidents, and respond to emerging risks. From conducting safety audits and producing due diligence reports to leading SafeWork SA investigations and facilitating WHS education, this role touches every layer of safety practice across the network. About the role:  * Implement and contribute to the development of WHS systems, processes, policies, and procedures across assigned divisional portfolios, ensuring local initiatives align with SA Health's strategic objectives and meet legislative and accreditation standards * Provide specialist WHS advice on legislation, standards, SA Health policy and SALHN procedures, including the planning and delivery of educational in-service training and instruction to build capability across divisional teams * Produce formal WHS risk assessments in partnership with managers, supervisors, health and safety representatives, Workfit Services and workers, in response to identified significant injuries or service redevelopment activities * Facilitate worksite safety inspection audits, generating hazard reports and partnering with divisional stake holders to resolve compliance issues About you: * Demonstrated experience providing leadership, guidance, and consultancy to stakeholders across a large, complex organisation including executive, managers and health and safety representative's * Sound knowledge of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, WorkCover Self-Insurer Performance Standards and delegated WHS roles and responsibilities * Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and cooperation with senior management, health professionals and key stakeholders * Relevant tertiary qualification in WHS, health, psychology, behavioural science, allied health, or equivalent demonstrated knowledge of WHS legislation and the application of ISO 45001 Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
