Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Senior Officer

  • Full-time, Fixed term position (until September 2026)
  • HEW 5 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements
  • Based at the Bundoora campus (3 days per week on-site), and hybrid ways of working

About You
We are seeking a enthusiastic, agile and committed administrative professional to come and join the WIL Team in the STEM College as a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Office. This role is pivotal in providing administrative support for WIL across Health & Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, Computing Technologies and Science Programs.
The WIL Officer will provide a wide range of administrative and client service support for WIL in the College Office. The role will carry out regular compliance checking and administration for WIL Programs, respond to student queries, communicate with relevant stakeholders (Academics, Students and Industry Partners), and maintain relevant University databases.
The WIL Officer will be responsible for all administrative task relating to work integrated learning for specific STEM Disciplines.
The WIL Officer will also contribute to a collaborative team culture, working as a team player to support other team members in busier periods. This role may occasionally be required to work non-standard hours to meet critical deadlines and leave restrictions will apply during peak periods.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with academic and professional staff, students, and external stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Proven ability to work independently and use initiative, with strong task prioritisation and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated capacity to perform effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality professional administrative services, with knowledge of WIL processes considered an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines, while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
  • High-level proficiency in a range of computer software applications, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.

The STEM College Office Professional staff provide exceptional and efficient support to the College.
