ABOUT THE ROLE

The Institute of Applied Technology (IAT) is seeking a dynamic and motivated Work Integration Program Specialist to lead the operational and technical delivery of our alumni work integration engagement strategy across a state-wide network.
This role is central to supporting IAT graduates as they transition into the workforce, ensuring they are equipped with the tools and connections needed for long-term career success. A critical part of the role involves networking with the broader community to establish professional relationships and uncover specialised career pathways that align with the skills and aspirations of IAT alumni.
The role offers a 35-hour work week, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week. There will be occasional requirements to work evenings and weekends to support events and engagement activities. The successful candidate must also be willing and able to travel to the IAT Kingswood campus and attend industry events across New South Wales as needed.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Degree in relevant discipline OR equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the technology sector to inform program design, the labour market, current recruitment practices, and challenges facing graduates.
  • Demonstrated advanced facilitation skills and experience in actively engaging a wide range of audiences both in person and virtually.
  • Ability to travel to perform work outside normal working hours where required.
