Company Description Our client is a global multi-energy company operating large-scale refining and petrochemical facilities. It’s managing projects from FEED/Basic Engineering to Startup/ hand-over to Block Field Operation teams. The nature of the brownfield projects, i.e. most of the execution activities offshore are executed in SIMOPS on live FPSOs (Girassol, Dalia, Pazflor,CLOV on Block 17 and Kaombo Norte and Sul on Block 32) and congested seabed, increases the risks and consequently the challenges of the projects (coactivities with other projects and maintenance activities, minimization of production shortfalls…). PBF is managing EPC contracts with major international Contractors but also local players including onshore prefabrication in Angola, offshore construction and Installation (FPSO modifications, SURF, SPS, SIMOPS, high number of contractors & subcontractors). Brownfield environment, with all Site(s) activities carried out in SIMOPS mode Multiple interfaces & synergies (within PBF & outside - DB17/FO notably) Job Description 1. To promote safety culture within the project and his/her activities. Lead by exemplarity to have the team members and colleagues adhering and contributing. 2. To ensure that safe and ethic working practices are carried out within the activities that he/she is managing or interfacing with. To guarantee the compliance on his activities. 3. To ensure that state of the art, client referential and local rules/laws are complied with and captured in all contractual requirements. 4. To work by anticipation. 5. With the spirit of client values, to establish and manage his/her activities motivating his/her counterparts and to work diligently to meet the targets of the Projects. 6. To promote innovation as far as compatible with good enough approach for all activities. To seek optimization and savings all along the different phases of the project. To focus on costs without impairing QHSE objectives. 7. To keep divisional Manager and all parties (as required) informed regarding ongoing activities status. To advise the Project Managers on architecture related actions/decisions. Accountabilities for this position are related to all DCF FPSO package construction Permit to Work: 1. Based on the Job Card issued during the engineering phase, to prepare Permit to Work using the software ePermit of eVision, as per Site standards and with all associated documents such as, but not limited to, PID mark-up, layout mark-up, risk assessment, lifting plan and equipment certificates, scaffolding calculation note, procedure, etc. 2. To request Permit to Work in due time as per construction planning communicated by the hierarchy 3. To ensure a proper follow up of PTW from the draft to the close out using an Excel spreadsheet and highlight some KPI such as, but not limited to, Permit to Work remaining validity time, Permit to Work renewal time, number of Permit to Work opened per day, Permit to Work opening hour on site, etc. 4. To fill the Site Permit Coordinator “Visual Scheduling” Excel spreadsheet for Permit to Work to be opened the day after with the associated priority 5. To participate to Site meetings such as the daily “Visual Scheduling meeting” and the daily “PTW meeting”. 6. To ensure satisfactory interfaces and communication with the Site for all DCF construction Permit to Work subject; 7. To audit Permit to Work activities as per Site requirements in order to monitor and verify the effectiveness of the implementation and execution of the Permit to Work; To conduct site inspections, particularly high risk activities that should be checked daily for adherence to PTW requirements. Qualifications 1. Construction/Commissioning profile, with a professional experience of 10 years min in offshore oil and gas industries; 2. Good production knowledge would be advantageous in order to understand Site requirements and constraints for the validation of a Permit to Work; 3. Good knowledge of Total Permit to Work System would be much appreciated. 2 days training for the use of ePermit will be given before taking the position; 4. Good coordination and communication skills; 5. Very rigorous in the job. 6.
