Description

As a Workato Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure integrations across cloud and on-premise systems using the Workato platform. This includes developing interfaces that enable seamless data exchange, automation of workflows, and orchestration of business processes. Responsibilities Integration Design & Development: Build and optimise recipes and connectors to support interface flows between applications such as SAP, Salesforce, OMS, and custom platforms. Interface Engineering: Develop robust frameworks for interface orchestration, including error handling, data mapping, and transformation logic. API Management: Design and implement REST/SOAP APIs for integration endpoints, ensuring secure and efficient communication between systems. Testing & Validation: Implement automated unit testing frameworks to validate interface logic and reduce regression risks. Documentation & Support: Maintain detailed documentation of integration flows, configurations, and troubleshooting guides. Provide ongoing support and enhancements. Profile Minimum Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT or any relevant specialisation. Proven 4-7 experience with Workato platform and recipe development. Strong understanding of API integration, web services, and data exchange formats (JSON, XML, SQL). Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and interface design principles. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), middleware, and data orchestration tools. Hands-on experience designing, building and deploying Recipes into Workato cloud. Hands-on experience in developing custom connectors in Workato using Ruby.
