This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Workday Certified Project Manager in India. In this role, you will lead end-to-end Workday implementation projects, ensuring delivery excellence, strong governance, and seamless client collaboration. You will oversee planning, execution, and milestone management across multiple concurrent engagements while guiding teams and clients through Workday best practices. With a focus on scope control, quality assurance, and stakeholder alignment, you will drive successful outcomes in complex, enterprise-grade transformation programs. This position provides the opportunity to mentor project teams, contribute to functional and technical decision-making, and support scalable delivery methodologies. You will work remotely within India while supporting clients across global time zones. \n Accountabilities Manage full Workday implementation lifecycles, overseeing planning, governance, charter creation, staffing plans, risk logs, and milestone approvals. Lead the execution of multiple simultaneous projects while ensuring adherence to budget, timelines, and agreed scope. Apply Workday implementation methodology to guide clients through requirements, design, testing, deployment, and adoption phases. Collaborate with client-side project managers to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and maintain strong delivery momentum. Present project updates effectively to executive stakeholders and project teams, adapting communication to each audience. Support requirement gathering and pre-sales activities when needed, contributing to SOWs, change orders, and delivery approaches. Provide guidance and mentorship to other project managers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and excellence. Identify opportunities to introduce complementary service offerings and maintain high client satisfaction. Ensure compliance with delivery checkpoints and internal quality assurance processes. Demonstrate computational thinking to break down complex problems, optimize configurations, and propose scalable solutions. Requirements Current Workday Partner certification required. 5+ years of experience managing Workday HCM, Payroll, or Financials implementations for medium to large clients. Consulting experience within internal teams or external consulting/software environments. Background implementing enterprise systems such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, or PeopleSoft. Working knowledge of HR, Benefits, Payroll, General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, or Services Procurement. Strong organizational, time management, communication, and presentation skills. Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and manage executive-level stakeholders. Experience managing projects for US or European clients; prior service sales experience is a plus. Balance of functional understanding and technical aptitude. Ability to work US Eastern hours (5:00 PM to 2:00 AM IST). Willingness to travel up to 30percent as required.
