Job title: Workday Developer
This role will involve designing, developing, and implementing Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Integration Cloud, and Web Services, along with creating custom reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will have expertise in EIB, Core Connectors, BIRT Reporting, XSLT, XML, SQL, and Workday Prism Analytics. Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, and implement Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Workday Integration Cloud (WIC), and Workday Web Services (WWS).
- Develop and maintain Workday integrations utilizing EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, and other integration tools.
- Create and maintain Workday custom reports using Report Designer (BIRT), Workday Calculated Fields, and BIRT Reporting.
- Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution for Workday integrations, reports, and custom solutions.
- Develop automated testing frameworks using tools such as Appium and Tricentis Tosca for Workday integrations and reports.
- Leverage XSLT, XML, SQL, and other programming languages for data transformation, integration, and reporting.
- Work closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement Workday-related functionality.
- Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Workday Prism Analytics to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Implement and maintain XTT (Cross-application Testing Tool) for testing integrations and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between Workday and third-party applications.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and adherence to Workday best practices.
- Maintain and enhance system performance by identifying opportunities for optimization and applying necessary fixes and upgrades.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]:
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Studio, Workday Integration Cloud, Workday Web Services (WWS).
- Extensive experience in EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) and Core Connectors to build integrations between Workday and third-party systems.
- Proficiency in Workday Report Designer (BIRT) and custom reporting.
- Solid understanding of Workday Calculated Fields and how to leverage them to build complex reports and logic.
- Expertise in XSLT, XML, and SQL for data transformation, integration, and reporting.
- Experience with Workday Prism Analytics for creating dashboards and advanced analytics.
- Familiarity with Appium and Tricentis Tosca for automated testing of integrations and reports.
- Knowledge of XTT (Cross-application Testing Tool) for testing and validating Workday integrations and reports.
- Experience with PICOF (Partner Integration Certification and Operations Framework) and integration certifications.
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM (Human Capital Management) concepts and modules.
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders.
