About the Role: Cognizant’s Workday Practice is looking for talent across all levels specializing in Workday Financials. The Workday Financials Consultant plays a key role in managing, configuring, and optimizing the Workday Financial Management system. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial processes, data-driven insights, and enhanced reporting capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Configure and maintain Workday Financial Management modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and deliver tailored financial solutions. Ensure seamless integration of Workday with other enterprise systems and financial tools. Develop and deploy financial reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making. Provide training and support to finance teams on Workday functionalities and best practices. Monitor system performance and implement enhancements or fixes as needed. Stay updated with Workday releases and recommend relevant upgrades or features. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. 3–7+ years of experience in Workday Financials or ERP systems. Strong understanding of financial processes such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), and Order-to-Cash (O2C). Experience with Workday modules like Financial Accounting, Reporting, Budgeting, and Integration. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Workday Financials certification Experience in global finance operations or multi-entity environments.
