Our Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Fixed-Term (12-18 months) Workday Functional Lead to join our Global HRIS function and support the smooth operation of the Workday tool. This is an individual contributor role, where you will lead your functional area, not a role with any people leadership. We’re looking for someone who can be a subject matter expert with prime responsibility for three Workday Functional Areas from:

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the application management of the GTS Workday instance and will be a key member of the Global HRIS team (Tier 3)
  • Maintain system configurations for assigned Functional Areas
  • Monitor Workday Releases and plan adoption of required functionality, including testing
  • Engage in the Workday Community, raising and voting on brainstorms to support GTS requirements
  • Ensure integrity and quality of data in the HRIS database including, but not limited to, security, organizational structures, reporting catalogs, and staffing details; taking necessary actions to update the system
  • Monitor and respond to customer requests regarding system complications; malfunctions or enhancements
  • Escalate Workday bugs to Workday via Customer Central cases
  • Correspond with global HR and other HRIS team members regarding new or requested system changes
  • Maintain a system of record for all change requests, test results and configuration changes
  • Assist with mass data loads using EIB or OX, including – but not limited to – restructures, acquisitions, and annual compensation reviews
  • Knowledge sharing and informal on-the-job training of Tier 2 colleagues (Country HRIS)
  • Ensure the appropriate end-users are receiving the data necessary to complete their work in a proficient and timely manner, while also ensuring data privacy and system integrit
