Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Workday Implementation Project Manager to lead the end-to-end rollout of our new Workday HRIS platform. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth, on-time, and successful implementation, while aligning system configuration with business needs and HR processes. You will work cross-functionally with HR, IT, Finance, external consultants, and Workday partners to deliver a fit-for-purpose solution.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience managing Workday implementations (end-to-end), ideally in a global or complex organizational environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience delivering large-scale systems projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including working with HR, IT, Finance, and third-party vendors.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes (e.g., Core HCM, Absence, Talent, Compensation, Payroll, Recruitment).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Workday certification(s) or formal training.
  • PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile project management qualification.
  • Experience with Workday integrations (e.g., with payroll, finance, or identity systems).
  • Familiarity with change management and training approaches for HRIS rollouts.
  • Experience in data migration and validation in an HRIS context.

Responsibilities
  • Own and drive the full lifecycle of the Workday implementation, from planning and discovery through deployment and stabilization.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and risk logs.
  • Lead project governance activities, including steering committee updates and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external Workday implementation partners/consultants.
  • Oversee system configuration, integrations, testing (SIT/UAT), training, and change management activities.
  • Ensure data migration activities (cleansing, mapping, validation) are executed accurately and on schedule.
  • Track progress against key milestones and proactively address risks or roadblocks.
  • Support go-live readiness and post-launch hypercare.
  • Ensure alignment with HR process owners and compliance with data security and privacy standards.
