Job Description: Chewy is looking for an HRIS Sr. Solution Manager to join our HR Operations Team. In this role, you will be the Workday configuration and support subject matter expert for Workday Recruiting. This role will support and drive the implementation of new functionality and enhancements by understanding end-user needs, developing business and functional requirements, building streamlined and effective processes, and supporting technical design, testing, and deployment to provide best-in-class user experience. In this role, you will partner across functional business teams, translate complex business needs to practical solution design recommendations, and ensure data, configurations, and security meet requirements. This role requires deep functional expertise to understand process and system requirements. You will help develop, test, and deploy Workday Recruiting and other Talent Acquisition tools with the HRIS team. What You’ll Do: Define and shape the business process architecture within your defined areas of responsibility Act as authority on HRIS configurations within Talent Acquisition, combining expert-level proficiency in the systems and solutions with an understanding of the functional HR processes Communicate clearly and collaborate with internal partners to turn broad requirements into recommended solutions Support feature releases and issue resolution, working with business users, IT, vendors, and other support teams to define scope, prioritize, plan, and implement system changes and enhancements Document requirements and technical specifications to support our solution landscape and HR organizational needs for systems implementation, upgrades, and process improvements Develop project plans using data gathered, constraints, and probable consequences, ensuring alignment to project schedule and other specifications Manage project work and milestones and specified project tasks Work through intake request tickets for system issues and enhancements Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and provide essential support in Systems Integration Testing (SIT) Work directly with teams to identify, analyze, design, test, and implement new solutions or improvements to existing solutions Help review communication and training materials in support of system navigation and changes, ensuring technical accuracy and assisting where necessary to develop Conduct high-level needs analysis and recommend service improvements to increase the efficiency of the systems Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy and process acumen Mentor team by providing guidance, allowing them to learn new skills and functional areas What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience 5+ years of Workday experience, including a deep knowledge of Workday Recruiting; Hired Score, Paradox, Phenom & Grayscale a plus Workday certifications preferred Knowledge of downstream integrations with the ability to gauge the impact of changes, triage, and remedy incidents and/or scope level of effort for new initiatives Superb communication and organizational skills, including translating between technical and business groups, bringing forward a vision or opinion Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to design and develop solutions to meet business needs creatively Comfort with leading multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and ability to prioritize decisions and tasks effectively to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Expertise in agile software development methodologies and their adoption within teams The utmost passion for both technology and leadership Customer Service-focused approach to interactions with business partners and employee user community Travel expectation is approximately 10% The base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $160,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.
