Description
Lead the Workday technical landscape, ensuring the platform's architecture, configuration, and security are optimized for performance and compliance. Oversee and evolve Workday Security, including domain, business process, and role-based access frameworks. Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to translate functional needs into scalable, secure technical solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a cross-functional team, ensuring alignment with enterprise technology and governance standards. Drive agile delivery practices, ensuring solutions are delivered efficiently and iteratively. Manage platform enhancements, including testing, release planning, and environment strategy. Maintain deep knowledge of Workday functionality across multiple modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, and Absence. Proactively evaluate new Workday releases and AI-driven capabilities to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 6-8 years of hands-on experience working within the Workday platform, with proven expertise in configuration, security, and platform administration. Minimum of 2 years leading teams or workstreams in an Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban). Strong understanding of Workday Security, Business Process Framework, and tenant management. Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and accountability. Experience with Workday Recruiting and Talent Management modules. Exposure to Workday AI capabilities and practical application of AI tools within HR processes. Experience integrating people data with enterprise systems (e.g., Finance, IT, Analytics platforms). Familiarity with Workday integration tools (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, REST/SOAP APIs) — a plus, but not required. Workday certification(s) in Security, HCM, or related domains preferred.
