Workday Technical Consultant (Time & Attendance Focus) Overview We are seeking a Workday Technical Consultant to support and enhance our Workday environment, with a focus on time and attendance–related processes and data. This individual will play a key role in ensuring accurate time capture, reliable data flow, and overall system effectiveness across HR and Payroll operations. This role requires someone who understands how Workday functions in a real production environment and can independently support configurations, integrations, reporting, and ongoing system improvements. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation in Workday along with practical experience supporting time-related workflows. What You’ll Do Support and maintain Workday functionality related to employee time, pay, and operational workflows Partner with HR, Payroll, and internal stakeholders to ensure systems align with business needs Assist with system updates, enhancements, and ongoing optimization Help ensure data accuracy, reliability, and compliance across time and payroll processes Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of system issues Contribute to reporting, analysis, and visibility into workforce time-related data Support integrations and data movement between Workday and other systems What We’re Looking For Required Experience 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Workday in a technical or functional capacity 1–2+ years of direct experience supporting time and attendance processes within Workday Experience working in a live Workday production environment Understanding of how Workday supports HR and Payroll operations Ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently Experience with Workday Payroll or Workday HCM (required). Preferred Background Experience supporting system enhancements, updates, or implementations Exposure to reporting, integrations, or technical configuration within Workday Experience working with cross-functional teams such as HR, Payroll, or IT
