Job Title: Workday Technical Consultant – EFT Data Integration
Location: Remote (US)
Employment Type: Full-time (W2) / Contract (1099 or C2C)
Experience Required: 4–8 years

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday integration tools: EIB, Workday Studio, Core/Cloud Connectors.
  • Deep understanding of EFT protocols, banking file formats (e.g., NACHA, SWIFT), and secure transmission methods.
  • Proficiency in XML, XSLT, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and ETL tools.
  • Experience with data conversion, financial systems, and Workday Financials or Payroll modules.
  • Familiarity with Workday Extend and custom application development is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Workday certification in Integration preferred.
  • Prior experience in at least two full-cycle Workday implementation involving EFT or financial data integration.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations involving EFT data transfers from external systems.
  • Implement and support Workday Core Connectors, Cloud Connectors, EIBs, and Workday Studio for inbound/outbound data flows.
  • Collaborate with finance and payroll teams to ensure secure and accurate EFT data mapping into Workday Financials or Payroll modules.
  • Lead data conversion and migration efforts, including transformation and validation of EFT-related datasets.
  • Develop and maintain SOAP/REST APIs, XML/XSLT mappings, and custom reports for EFT transaction tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with data security standards and audit requirements for financial data exchange.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and provide ongoing support during implementation and post-go-live phases.
