REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Extensive Workers’ Compensation product experience in the field of regulatory compliance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of WCPOLS required.
• Detail-oriented, highly analytical and organized.
• Excellent skills in project management, time management, process improvement, written and oral communication. Must be an analytical thinker with a strong customer service orientation.

DESIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Multiline P&C experience and ISO/AAIS bureau knowledge would be useful but not required.
• Knowledge of AS400/WINS system.

• Review and disseminate Workers’ Compensation criticism letters and weekly Workers’ Compensation bureau criticism reports. Analyze penalties from all fining states and dispute fines as needed. Monitor policy reporting performance and bureau data quality reports.
• The Business Analyst is the conduit between Workers’ Compensation bureaus (e.g., NCCI) and IT. You will be involved in reviewing circulars and bulletins to determine new compliance requirements for the Policy Issuance process and WCPOLS reporting. Initialize IT (WINS) programming changes and work with IT and Underwriting Operations throughout entire project life cycle.
• Own special projects assigned by the Department’s leadership team.
  You will report to the Senior Workers Compensation Manager of the Regulatory and Compliance Services team.
