Though primarily remote, occasional travel is required for in-person legal appearances. Join a team that values collaboration and innovation while working from the comfort of your home. \n Accountabilities Handle a caseload of workers' compensation defense cases with dedicated support staff. Conduct legal research and develop defense strategies. Represent clients in hearings, trials, and appeals. Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements. Assess claims and negotiate settlements effectively. Ensure compliance with workers' compensation laws. Participate in mediation and dispute resolution. Maintain strong client relationships through collaboration. Requirements Strong knowledge of California Worker's Compensation law. 2 - 10 years of experience in workers' compensation defense litigation. Ability to work independently and remotely. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Admission in good standing to the State Bar of California. Experience taking and defending depositions. Experience in all WC hearings. Preparation of cases for trial appearances. Benefits Base Compensation: $110,000 - $215,000 + Additional Bonuses (D.O.E.) Quarterly bonuses paid out. Comprehensive compensation structure.
