About the role
This position covers a wide range of functions. You will have every opportunity to utilise your expertise in Workers Compensation and further develop your skills, working within the Workers Compensation team and alongside the Work Health Safety and Wellbeing team.

To be successful you will need:

  • 2-5 years experience in the NSW workers compensation scheme or self-insurance
  • Experience with rehabilitation and injury management within NSW
  • Comprehensive understanding of NSW workers compensation legislation and SIRA guidelines
  • Understanding of Work Health and Safety and connection to Workers Compensation
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Prominent level of organisation, attention to detail, and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems
  • Experience working within a high paced team
  • Excellent numeracy skills with an elevated level of accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Sound written and verbal communication
  • A divisive and flexible and collaborative approach to work

Desirable

  • Certificate IV in Personal Injury Management, Return to Work Coordination, or similar
  • Experience working with icare or other scheme agents
  • Experience with WC and Injury management platforms e.g., SBC / Salesforce
