Interested candidates should have at least 2 years of experience defending workers’ compensation claims. Excellent written and oral advocacy skills are a must. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in Pennsylvania and New York or Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This is a fully remote position.
Responsibilities of the Workers Compensation Defense Attorney:

• Manage a workers compensation litigation caseload
• Work closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects
• Regularly handle court appearances, depositions, and examinations under oath
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports

Requirements for the Workers Compensation Defense Attorney:

• 2+ years of workers’ compensation defense experience
• Experience preparing pleadings, discovery, depositions and motion practice
• Superior written and oral advocacy skills required
• Licensed to practice and in good standing in Pennsylvania & New York or Pennsylvania & New Jersey
• J.D. from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional law firm setting
• Outstanding references

Compensation

• Pay: The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $150,000. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
