Description Hawley Troxell is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Workers' Compensation Legal Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate should have 2 years of experience in the legal field and an understanding of workers compensation law. Successful applicants will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume legal practice and capable of performing under pressure with accuracy and professionalism. Responsibilities: - Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals in the workers compensation department - Manage and organize case files, including filing and retrieving documents - Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for attorneys - Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers - Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests - Conduct legal research and compile information for cases - Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
