We are committed to delivering outstanding results and compassionate client service. Our Workers’ Compensation team is growing, and we are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Workers’ Compensation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supports the managing attorney throughout all stages of hearings, including case initiation and appeal. Draft and file pleadings, motions, appeals, and correspondence with administrative agencies. Maintain case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with Nevada Workers’ Compensation rules and regulations. Communicate with clients, medical providers, adjusters, and opposing counsel. Prepare hearing exhibits, and evidence packets Conduct legal and medical research as needed to support case preparation. Manage calendars, schedule hearings, and coordinate with staff to ensure timely case progression. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Minimum 1+ years of Workers’ Compensation experience is preferred (Nevada experience preferred). Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal experience. Strong understanding of Workers’ Compensation laws, procedures, and terminology is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle a large caseload. Proficiency with case management software (SmartAdvocate a plus). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
Responsibilities
The paralegal will support the managing attorney by drafting legal documents, managing case files, and tracking deadlines for workers' compensation cases. They will also coordinate hearing schedules, prepare evidence packets, and communicate with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
