Description

Downer is seeking a Workflow Engineer to support HCMT Fleet Maintenance by ensuring planned maintenance tasks are delivered safely, to standard, and on time. This role bridges Engineering intent and frontline execution, driving consistent, high-quality maintenance workflows across the fleet. Key Responsibilities * Support Fleet Technicians with clear, practical workflow and task execution guidance * Work with Engineering and Methods teams to define and validate task standards, times, and critical‑to‑quality requirements * Assist with trials of revised maintenance tasks and workflows * Capture and report task validation and trial data * Conduct workflow and task compliance audits * Identify and communicate operational improvement opportunities * Ensure all workflows align with Zero Harm and safe working requirements About You * Tertiary qualification (Cert III, Diploma, Degree or equivalent) * Experience in a maintenance, manufacturing, or testing environment * Exposure to workflow development, task standardisation, or change implementation * Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex tasks simply * Microsoft Office proficiency * HCMT rail experience desirable Why Join Us? * Work on Victoria’s flagship HCMT rail fleet * Influence safety, quality, and efficiency outcomes * Collaborative engineering and operations environment How to Apply To apply for this great opportunity, please click the APPLY NOW button.
