The Workforce Belonging Generalist will lead and manage initiatives aimed at promoting team member equity and belonging within our health system and community. This role involves strategic execution, partnership development, program implementation, and evaluation to address biases, disparities and improve team member belonging within the health system.

  • Carry out daily operations and activities supporting system wide Equity and Inclusion efforts - which include virtual learning logistics (i.e communications execution, meeting scheduling, virtual meeting functionality, digital learning components, etc.)
  • Coordinate Equity and Inclusion related events
  • Maintain tracking of projects and key initiatives, working in close partnership with the equity Program Manager and key stakeholders
  • Facilitate and ensure the completion of cultural sensitivity and unconscious bias training
  • Manage Community Groups and local Councils, including budget, events, etc.
  • Conduct and facilitate Council Leader and community group leader on-boarding process.
  • Performs various managerial functions for the internal Equity and Inclusion programs
  • Collaborates with educational institutions, technical college systems, workforce commissions and third-party workforce intermediaries to identify and optimize partnerships resulting in team member advancement opportunities.
  • Program Development and Implementation: Design, implement, and oversee education equity programs and initiatives that target diverse and underserved populations.
  • Resource Management: Manage program budgets, secure funding through grants and other sources, and allocate resources effectively to support program goals.
  • Support team members needing education assistance, sponsorship enrollment, and education program completion.
  • Support federal, state, and community grant sourcing to support workforce development for underserved populations.
  • Community benefit partnership and reporting

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human services field and 2 years professional experience
