In depth knowledge of an information related field either acquired by postgraduate study to diploma level or equivalent experience Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present highly complex information, taking account of the needs and level of the audience Advanced level of skill in information analysis. The data may be conflicting and contentious to those receiving it.
Ability to write and present clear reports, short articles and presentations taking into account the audience who will receive it eg project work Expert technical specialist knowledge of ESR including in depth knowledge of NHS data definitions, terminology and ability to maintain and update the database. This includes a thorough understanding of the current issues facing the NHS and the role of information in this context Demonstrable relational database experience and skills including extraction and manipulation of data etc Experience of working in the NH
