About the Role: The Workforce Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting service delivery across a complex health service by managing workforce rostering and planning to ensure staffing aligns with operational needs and adapts to changing priorities. The role supports workforce performance, coordinates professional development activities, and monitors workforce trends to inform planning and reporting. It requires the ability to interpret and apply legislative instruments, including the Enterprise Agreement, to ensure compliant and equitable workforce practices that support safe, high-quality, and responsive service delivery. Infrastructure and Health Support Services (IHSS) are an integral part of Canberra Health Services, delivering essential facility, infrastructure, and support services that enable Canberra Hospital and community-based health services to operate safely and effectively. As part of IHSS, the Environmental Cleaning Services team is responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services across Canberra Hospital and community-based facilities. The service is essential to the effective operation of the broader health service by ensuring clean, safe, and welcoming environments that support clinical operations and contribute to a positive experience for everyone who uses our facilities.
