This national program will provide rapid access to evidence-based low-intensity CBT delivered by qualified practitioners, supporting people experiencing stress, distress and anxiety to get help early. About the Role As Workforce Planner & Scheduler, you will be a critical enabler of service delivery across our national digital mental health program. You will align workforce capacity with operational demand through smart forecasting, compliant rostering and proactive coordination, ensuring continuity of care, staff wellbeing and service excellence. You will work closely with clinical leaders, operational teams and corporate services to turn complex workforce data into practical, responsive workforce solutions. This opportunity is open for Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane locations. Fixed Term role for two years from commencement date Key Responsibilities Workforce Planning & Forecasting Analyse service demand, workforce capacity and operational trends to forecast staffing needs Develop forward workforce plans to support growth, peak periods and compliance obligations Provide regular reports and insights on workforce utilisation, risks and gaps Roster Management Design, maintain and optimise compliant rosters aligned to industrial agreements and budget parameters Manage day-to-day roster changes including leave, vacancies and unplanned absences Coordinate onboarding of new staff into rostering systems, ensuring accurate setup of shifts, skill mix and allowances Act as the central point of contact for roster enquiries and issue resolution Systems & Continuous Improvement Maintain and enhance workforce systems, ensuring data integrity and effective use Identify opportunities to automate and streamline rostering and planning workflows Provide training and support to leaders and teams on best-practice rostering and compliance Contribute to quality improvement initiatives that strengthen workforce sustainability About You You are highly organised, analytical and thrive in complex, fast-moving environments. You balance data, people and operational realities, and you enjoy solving problems that directly impact people’s access to care. You will bring: 3+ years’ experience in workforce planning or rostering within large, complex operations Experience working across distributed and multidisciplinary teams Strong understanding of awards and industrial instruments Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills High-level digital capability, including MS Office and rostering/HR systems Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, human resources or business (highly desirable) Why Work for St Vincent’s?
